The film leads to introspection and genuine debate as the outcome for so many individuals can be so varied especially when its regarding relationships. The film sheds light in self respect and the constant battle between duty and responsibility. This Bengali film starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Konkona Sen Sharma is highly recommended.


3. Dear Comrade

     A Telugu film that focuses on the love between two characters and about goals of individuals mends in destructive ways and fighting for what is morally right. It is an important film that sheds light on individual abusing position of power. Again having beautiful background score gives feeling of love and warm, its also messaging through the relationship of two characters played by Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Madanna says so much more actually looking for oneself for courage rather than through the people around you.


4. Premam

     A film that deeply impacted a lot of people was Malyalam film starring Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameswaran. The film follows the life of male character from an inquisitive child-like fellow, a ruffian and a reserved and nostalgic individual. This film explores how people are shaped through their experience in love and how emotional baggage of that experience carries forward which possess a deep sadness as it develops and brings several thoughts and a devious ways in which fate works in your favour or your against. 5. Gantumoote

     A Kannada film that rush of unexplainable attraction from the perspective of a girl in high school. From the influence of the movies to idolizing the acts of heroes and how it translates in impressive ways in peoples' perception of courting the opposite sex. The lead character played by Teju Belawadi explores the curiosity, sexual attraction and the boundless feeling of first love from the perspective of women. Farhan Akhtar and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen together in a movie.

  Two dynamic personalities of Bollywood Farhan Akhtar and Bhumi Pednekar will be doing a movie together. It is not confirmed whether it is actor-actress duo or director-actress but will be fun to watch them creating something together. Both of them were seen together in Film Companion's Tapecast.



Deepika Padukone shoots high octane action scenes in Mumbai

   Deepika Padukone is top actress of current generation and is doing a movie with Shah Rukh Khan titled Pathan. She is currently shooting for the movie with full action scenes.



Shraddha Kapoor bagged the movie Chalbaaz

   Shraddha Kapoor, the heartthrob of current generation is doing a movie Chalbaaz. Confusion with the title, it is not remake of Sridevi starrer movie with the same name. Filmmaker confirmed the news that it is completely a new movie. Aalia Bhatt was considered for the role but eventually went to Shraddha Kapoor.



Yami Gautam starts to shoot Lost

   After the marriage, both Yami Gautam and Aaditya Dhar are back to their work. Yami had started her investigate drama Lost in Kolkatta.



Imran Khan back in movies

   Nephew of Superstar Aamir Khan, the new age actor Imran Khan had quitted acting a year back but he will be back as a director. He was presumed to be the next superstar but he had some other plans.

8 Facts about Shah Rukh Khan that people rarely knew

 Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most recognized Superstar in the world. Some magazine even regarded him as World's Biggest Movie Star. There is no chance people could ignore his charm and wittiness. His life story is one of the famous biography worldwide. But there are still some facts that people barely know about him. So, let's talk about it.

1. SRK got slap from a lady.

     In an interview, SRK revealed that he got slapped by a lady when he first entered Bombay. According to him, he was unaware about the fact that when travelling from Delhi to Bombay, the train becomes local when it enters Bombay. He did not allow anyone to enter in his box car and that is why the Lady slapped him.

2. His name was Abdul Rahman.

     Shah Rukh Khan said that when he was born, his grand mother gave him name Abdul Rahman. While having conversation with Anupam Kher, he told that his grand mother was fond of this name but it is not registered anywhere and in every documents, Shah Rukh Khan is being registered.


3. He sold tickets for his own film.

     1994 film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa was a beautiful movie in which SRK acted. He even took just 25000 rupees as his acting fees and told producers to keep rest of the money in film's budget because he loved the script. After the movie was released, he sold tickets in one of the cinema halls.

4. He was not interested in doing films.

     He was not interested in doing films in his 20s. He was dating his then girlfriend Gauri Chhiber (now Khan) and she was not positive enough to encourage SRK to do films. In films, he had to hug heroines and come very close which was prohibited by Gauri. But after not having work and lack of money he had to do films.

5. He was over possessive for his wife.

     In an interview, SRK revealed that he was very possessive about his wife. He was even insecure when she talked to a 6 year old boy. Seeing his possessiveness, one Gauri even broke up with him. But now he has eased himself.

6. He offered money to buy award to filmfare editor.
     In an interview, SRK said that he was very desperate for awards in his early stage of acting. In 1994 he offered some money to Filmfare Editor buy Best Actor award but the editor refused it. SRK was even sorry for his behaviour. Later, he become most award winning actor.

7. Refused to work with Danny Boyle.

     Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire was offered to SRK initially. Danny Boyle had offered the character of host of the show 'Who wants to be a millionaire'. But he was not keen to do this role and eventually, the role was done by Anil Kapoor.

8.  His obsession with number 555.

     He has managed to keep his every car number plate 555. He has obsession with the number and every car he owns has 555 on the number plate.

Hindi Film Industry aka Bollywood has been making films since 100 years ago. Though it was in small number back then, it was 1970s when Bollywood tookover Hollywood and become highest film producing industry. 70s was solely ruled by The Great Amitabh Bachhan, but Bollywood had to wait till 1990s to get worldwide recognition. After the rise of KHANS and other new age actors were famous not only in India but also worldwide.

       Raja was a action romantic drama film directed by Indra Kumar starring Sanjay Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. It collected 2.13 crores (20 million) footfalls.

9. Mohra

       The action thriller film directed by Rajiv Rai Starring Naseeruddin Shah, Akshay Kumar,Suniel Shetty and Raveena Tandon collected 2.15 crores (21 million) footfalls.

8. Hum Saath-Saath Hai

       The family drama film directed by Sooraj Barjatya starring huge actors like Salman Khan, Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan, Mohnish Bahl, Tabu and Karishma Kapoor was a superhit with 2.85 crores (28 million) footfalls.

Sushant Singh Rajput's shelved film'' Chanda Mama Door Ke'' is reviving?

 Back in 2018, Bollywood was experimenting with new genre of film and had gone out of the planet. The first space film in India was tentatively titled as ''Chanda Mama Door Ke''. The film had young generation talent Late Sushant Singh Rajput and was very excited about it. And now director Sanjay Puran Singh confirmed that the film will be revived as a tribute to the Late actor.

Sushant Singh Rajput, who was supposed to play an astronaut in the film was announced in 2017 and the actor even underwent training at National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA) for his role. The director had said that he will definitely make the film, he will not begin work on the film as Sushant's loss has been 'emotionally exhausting'  for him.

In an interview, the director said,'' The film is not shelved. I hope I will be able to translate on screen what I have visualized in my head and put on paper. Whenever I make the film, it will be a tribute to Sushant. He was so attached to the script that I owe this to him. He had given a lot of inputs to the project''.

Sanjay said that he cannot imagine casting anyone in place of Sushant in the film and will rework the script. He said this talking about new cast of the film. He also said,''many suggested that I turn it into a web series, but I want to retain it as a film. It is meant for the big screen''.

SRK-Atlee film confirmed, Nayanthara to play female lead

 After a series of underperformed Shah Rukh Khan movies, the Mega Star is back with humongous films like Pathan and now another Pan India film with director Atlee. The film is rumored to start next year. SRK and Atlee had been discussing this film since a year.

The action packed entertaining film was said to be a Pan India film releasing in 5 different language (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malyalam). SRK can be seen in double role both as secret agent and the antagonist as per the reports. Director Atlee is currently busy with the pre-production of the film. The film is tentatively titled as Sanki.

Now the confirmed news about female lead has bagged by Nayanthara. Also regarded as Lady Superstar of south indian industry, is going to make her Bollywood debut opposite King Khan. She had been working in south industry like Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam. The actress had worked with the director before in Tamil movies like Raja Rani and Bigil and now the collaboration has gone Pan India.

The director Atlee had made superhit cinemas in Tamil like Bigil, Mersal, Theri with superstars of Tamil Industry and first time working with King Khan has made his excitement multiplied and regard it as his dream come true.

Shah Rukh Khan had been saying that this decade has been locked as his best films in his career in his askSRK in twitter. It's interesting to see him in different avatar now and his fans is liking his choice of scripts.

''Salman Khan excited about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2''- K.V. Vijayendra

Koduru Viswa Vijayendra Prasad aka K.V. Vijayendra revealed that he has started writing story for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The master story writer in a recent interview has said that he has some idea for the sequel of the movie. He has already talked about it with the Mega Star Salman Khan and the star has liked it and is excited about it.

The duo had came together 6 years back with Bajrangi Bhaijaan which was a Blockbuster worldwide.
The cinema also won many awards including Filmfare Awards and National Award for wholesome entertainment. It also broke many box office records and has been counted as one of the finest in Indian Cinema.

And now it seems sequel is finally happening. In the conversation with famous media the writer said, ''I am trying to crack Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Sometime back, I told Salman the idea, and he is also excited. But I am looking for a proper vehicle to carry it forward. I hope it materializes''.

K.V. Vijayendra ia an ace writer who has penned for a lot of blockbusters including The Bahubali Franchise. Beside that his works are Thalaivi and Manikarnika in hindi, and films like Magadheera and Simhadri

Renowned Designer Manish Malhotra turns director

 Revolutionary fashion designer Manish Malhotra is planning to debut as a director. He has been designing costumes of many famous celebrities in biggest Indian movies. Some of the movies include Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Rangeela, Raja Hindustani, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and many more for over 800 films.

Manish Malhotra also had worked on a traditional outfit design for Michael Jackson, during his visit to India in the late 1990s. He has also worked for Jean Claude Van Damme, Reese Wintherspoon, Kylie Minogueand and Jermaine Jackson.

And now, the designer will make his directorial debut with the musical love story, set in backdrop of the partition. He has already stitched together the whole story of period drama in his mind and soon brings that vision on camera. The film will be produce under Dharma Production owned by his long time friend  Karan Johar.


From designing looks for actors like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachhan, to Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and many more others, Malhotra had been telling stories through all his creations for years. And it is quite sure that he has a strong relationship with all those biggies.

It has been said that the story and screenplay of his intense musical love story has already been envisioned and entire screenplay is ready in his mind and casting for the film will begin shortly.

Karan Johar and the most anticipated movie shelved?


Announcement made way back in 2018 multi-starrer 'Takht' which was supposed to be helmed by Karan Johar is rumoured to get shelve.

Announced with stellar cast of Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor was among the most anticipated movie of Bollywood.

However, after the announcement of 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' it is quite sure that Director will now focus everything in this one.

At present,there's a sensitive political environment in India, especially with some elements trying to disturb religious harmony. So, any minor mistake will impact the project haphazardly. As usual, we have seen that how films based on Mughal history have become part of controversies.
